This framed piece and the accompanying poem “Dear Old Nia” are a journey of self-acceptance and reconnection with my 15-year-old self. It’s about recognizing and embracing the parts of myself I once tried to hide or change. Through this work, I’m offering a safe space to my younger self, celebrating her vibrant uniqueness and acknowledging her struggles.
