Self-Portrait Series
With influences from Frida Kahlo and my own life experiences, my focus is on portraying the complex Black experience through self-portraiture. My work often features picturesque scenery, designed to reveal the beauty within profound contexts. Using saturated colors and powerful compositions with oil paint on canvas, I capture the essence of my subjects, encouraging viewers to explore the depth of their experiences.

My artwork fosters empathy and sparks meaningful conversations on themes such as beauty, identity, depression, inner-city life, and womanhood. By intertwining aesthetic appeal with intentional storytelling, I aim to inspire compassion and drive change.
